Automated Flat Panel

Early February 2021

I'm building a flat panel that will swing an EL or lightboard up to horizontal to mate with the RASA and Takahashi scopes.  The panel will have a 12" linear actuator which can be controlled manually or via a built-in Raspberry pi4 with relay board.  This pi will also control an IR positioning aid, and possibly a solenoid to push the button and turn the light panel on.

Remaining to do:

-     Adjust positioning aid

-     Attach light panel on plywood

-     Mount solenoid to start light panel

-     Mount switch to choose between manual and pi control for positioning aid

-     Mount mementary switch to fire solenoid
